THE STUDIO

A constantly evolving project.

RENNE PROJECT is an independent design project founded by Javiera Renne. It stems from a personal desire to explore the relationship between the objects we create, what we choose to wear and the way we express ourselves.

The project began with clothing and has evolved into jewellery, whilst maintaining the same approach: experimenting with forms, materials and processes to develop pieces with their own distinct identity.

RENNE does not fit into a single category. It is a space for exploration where jewellery, clothing and visual references coexist, connected by a common creative vision.

MATERIALS AND PROCESS

Jewellery now takes centre stage at RENNE. I work primarily with 925 sterling silver, developing sculptural forms through wax modelling and traditional jewellery-making techniques.

The process begins with an idea and continues through trials, adjustments and manual work until the final piece is achieved. I am interested in the relationship between form, texture and material, as well as the possibilities that emerge during experimentation.

Some designs are made to order. Others are created as one-off pieces that are never reproduced exactly.

RENEWAL AND ESSENCE

Renewal is part of the way I understand design: questioning the status quo, trying out different approaches and allowing a project to evolve.

The essence lies in maintaining one’s own direction throughout that process. It is not about following every trend, but about developing a recognisable visual language through the objects, materials and the decisions behind them.

I’m Javiera, a designer and the founder of RENNE PROJECT. I’m based in Barcelona, where I develop the pieces and explore new ways of taking the project forward.
